So recently I decided to use my spare time to explore the city I live in, locate random statues, take pictures of them and make a blog post here :3 So far I only found a few, but it's better than nothing, I will be updating this blog post every time I capture an image of a new statue. Alright, I know this is a little random but I still hope you enjoy dis o_o
Poseidon, the Griffin.
Athena, the Griffin
Don't know if this counts as a statue since it is in a wall but, I found Jesus. xD
Some weird surreal art sculpture at a roundabout
Sir Reynold, some famous war veteran.
The famous grave of the Nathusius family, buried directly near it are mother Louise (1830-1952), father Carl (1832-1921), brother Wilhelm (1865-1945) and daughter Carolina (1865-1952). Both Louise and her daughter Carolina were drowned in nearby Fowler Lake. The Grave is supposedly haunted now, and there have been some mysterious deaths and other occurrences here since, according to legend, Bloody Mary as some call her, comes to life at night and drowns herself in nearby fowler lake, reenacting the murder and cries tears of blood at night and blood tends to drip from her hands. When I went there I found dried blood on her hands, however someone could have just put that there.
The "dried blood" I found on her hands.
Located in Saint Jerome Cemetery, this statue is dedicated to the minor celebrity and reverend Howard McMahon (1823-1898), the local community put money towards this statue for remembrance.
A mini-statue dedicated to the San Fillippo family, also located in the Saint Jerome Cemetery.
I don't know who this is, all I know is that it's in the Saint Jerome Cemetery and it has something to do with Ancient Greek Mythology.
This was nearby Bloody Mary, it's a statue of a well known business man who made beer for a living (according to the grave diggers I talked to).
I don't know what the heck this is, but hey, It's a statue.
