Abe's Parents were killed by a fire at the age of four. Abe's body was never found in the ruins. Abe in fact was never seen again until seven years later when five bodies were found hung from the capitol of Gilla City. On each of the bodies was a letter written in blood, it spelled out D-E-A-T-H. The bodies were found out to be the Burns Family. The Burns had a century long family feud with the Beaver Family. They also had a long history of violence (both).
